Vraag: Waar is de alternator in een auto
A: De dynamo is bijna altijd op de voorkant van de motor gemonteerd, laag naar beneden en opzij.
U kunt het vinden door te zoeken naar een poelie aan de voorkant die is aangesloten op de serpentijnriem - De lange, kronkelende rubberen riem die ook is aangesloten op de hoofdkrukaspoelie van de motor.
V: Hoe u de spanning op Dynamo controleert
1.Start de motor.
Houd de sondes op dezelfde batterijterminals.
De spanning zou nu tussen 13,8 en 14,8 volt moeten lezen. Dit is de laadspanning van de alternator.
2.Test onder laad:
Met de motor loopt u uw koplampen aan en de verwarmingsventilator (hoge snelheid).
De spanning moet boven 13,0 volt blijven. Als het aanzienlijk daalt (in de 12V), is de alternator zwak.
